Ce massif se trouve juste derrière le bassin. Il comporte principalement des rosiers. A gauche le rosier Bonica et à droite le rosier Line Renaud. Au fond du massif il y a trois Centenaires de Lourdes et deux arches avec quatre rosiers grimpants : Santana, Marietta Sylva Tarouca, Polka et Ghislaine de Feligonde.

This border, just behind the pond, consists mainly of roses. Bonica on the left and Line Renaud on the right. Further back there are three Centenaires de Lourdes and  two  arches with 4 climbers : Santana, Marietta Sylva Tarouca, Polka and Ghislaine de Féligonde.

Assis sur le banc à contempler le bassin, entouré du parfum puissant du rosier Line Renaud : génial !

What better way to relax than sitting on the bench, surrounded by the heady fragrance of the rose Line Renaud and gazing at the pond

Ce massif de la gloriette a été planté au printemps de cette année. J'ai ajouté pas mal de dahlias afin de combler les trous et voila le résultat...

This border next to the gazebo was planted in the spring. In order to fill in the gaps I planted several dahlias.

La partie haute du massif : ça fait un peu fouillis contrôlé (ou peut-être pas !)

Journey into the wild : the upper part of the pond border.

En bas à gauche on aperçoit menyanthes trifoliata et potentilla palustris, deux plantes de marais qui courent sur le petit muret du bassin. Dans le massif il y a rudbeckia et verbena bonariensis.

In the bottom left-hand corner you get a glimpse of the edge of the pond with the bog plants menyanthes trifoliata and potentilla palustris. On the right you can see rudbeckia and verbena bonariensis.

Le massif du bassin se divise en deux parties : partie haute et partie basse.

Voici une vue du partie basse

The pond border has two parts : the higher and the lower. Here is a photo of the lower part.

On note Rosa Vent d'été en bas à droite et Rosa Angela à gauche.

Ces deux rosiers sont jeunes. Angela fut planté en novembre 2013 et Vent d'été en avril 2014. Ils sont déjà pleins de promesse : très florifère et un feuillage très sain. Espérons que ça continue ....

Both these rosebushes are young. Angela was planted in November 2013 and Vent d'été in April 2014. They are off to a good start : generous bloomers and healthy foliage. Let's hope it stays that way ....
