Magical Garden a le blues. Il manque de couleur à la suite de la longue sécheresse de ces derniers temps. Allons-y pour les fleurs bleues qui se trouvent dans le jardin actuellement.

Magical Garden has got the blues. It's lacking in colour after the long heatwave and drought. Here are the blues currently to be found in the garden.

L'agapanthe n'est plus en fleurs depuis 15 jours.

The agapanthus has no longer been in bloom for a couple of weeks.

Last but not least un très beau dahlia, acquis cette année. Il s'appelle Bluebell mais je ne le trouve pas tellement bleu !

Last but not least a newly acquired dahlia called Bluebell which I don't find particularly blue !

Les négligences ont parfois des conséquences heureuses. A la fin de l'été dernier après avoir coupé mes cosmos fanés je les ai laissés par inadvertance sur le gravier assez longtemps. Voici le résultat cet été :

A la demande de Laurence voici les rosiers du massif du banc bleu. D'abord la photo du massif.

Laurence has requested the names of roses in the blue bench border. First of all the photo of the border.

En bas à gauche on trouve deux pieds du rosier Bonica.  Juste derrière on voit le rosier grimpant rouge 'Santana'.

In the bottom-left-hand corner there are two Bonica rosebushes,with the red climber Santana just behind them.

Toujours à gauche sur l'arche on trouve le grimpant Marietta Silva Tarouca.

On the arch on the left you can see the climber Marietta Silva Tarouca.

Au milieu entre les deux arches se trouve Le centenaire de Lourdes. Il n'est pas très apparent sur la photo.

In the middle between the two arches is Centenaire de Lourdes which is only just visible.

Sur l'arche de droite se trouve Ghislaine de Féligonde.

The climber Ghislaine de Féligonde is on the right-hand arch.

Finalement le rosier d'un rose soutenu à droite est un inconnu. Il est très parfumé, non-remontant et il était déjà dans le jardin il y a plus de 20 ans. Des idées ?

Finally the dark pink rose on the right is a mystery. It's extremely fragrant, only flowers once and has been in the garden for over 20 years. Any ideas ?
